Gar Woods to Host 3rd Annual Labor Day Fireworks Spectacular on Sunday, September 6th

Carnelian Bay, CA August 19, 2015 – Home of the “Wet Woody”, Gar Woods Grill & Pier and The Monte Foundation will be hosting their 3rd Annual “Fireworks Spectacular” on Sunday, September 6th at 8:30pm. You are invited to sit front row on the action and watch the Labor Day Weekend sky light up just off Gar Woods pier. Many have said this is the best firework show they’ve ever seen, so don’t miss out!

The lakefront fireworks show will not only pay homage to the social and economic achievement of workers but will also benefit North Tahoe-Truckee Area High School Sports Programs. In the last two years this event has raised over $48,000 that went directly to funding local sports programs and they are out to break a record this year.

In addition to the money Gar Woods donates from the evening, Incline High School athletes will be selling event T-shirts and glow sticks on the beach that will contribute to the proceeds. Guests can also leave a donation on their credit card, write a big fat check or leave lots of cash while dining at Gar Woods, Bar of America, or Caliente this month. 100% of these donations will go directly to high school sports programs in the Tahoe-Truckee Area.

Gar Woods is an iconic cornerstone restaurant in North Tahoe known for it’s amazing food, drinks and view. Owner Tom Turner believes in giving back to the community that has supported Gar Woods for 27 years. He looks forward to this year’s benefit and that will contribute to well-being of North Tahoe.
